From the most recent GDP reporting from the second quarter we now can see that Swedens GDP improved some 4.6% whilst Greece GDP decreased some 3.7%.
In terms of size of population these two countries are just about the same. Sweden has som 9.3 millions and Greece has some 11.3 millions so not really that big diffrence. Quite staggering thoug that two economies in the very same economical union and of somewhat comparable size in terms of population can report such diverse economical numbers in excess of 8% difference in just one quarter.
Bottom line this then is the challange withe the EU project when one tries to merge together economies as diverce as the moon and the sun.
