Insurance company’s all over the world are now promoting a surveillance system whereby cars with GPS are able to send data to a centralized computer in order to monitor primarily speed limits. So the idea is that the driver if he keeps the speed limits is allowed to a lower premium. Then the implication of any such system when implemented successfully is quite astounding. Basically you then kow the exact whereabouts of any driver at any given point of time.

Then some 20 years back in my country Sweden it was unheard of anybody with alarm installed in the house. Today it's so common it's almost strange if you don't have one. The sad part of all of this is despite all of this surveillance people are not feeling more save and secure. In fact it's the contrary.

As an example of all thefts reported to the Swedish polis only some 5% are being solved. That is a mind boggling 95% is unsolved and not taken take of properly by the Swedish polis. But that's then what we as citizens pay good tax money to have. Instead the Swedish polis is really efficient policing the traffic. Items such as speed tickets, parking fees etc is a real huge business and if you do not pay you're parking ticket you’re doomed and end up in a real mess.

Bottom line harassing middle class and hard working individuals is what it's all about. You're not supposed to feel save - on the contrary. In the mean while they keep coming up with these new surveillance applications one more horrendous than the other. And still people feel more and more unsafe despite that surveillance.

Then the trend towards Oligarchy is full steam ahead also in a country as Sweden. Privatizations is the name of the game and more and more of the common welfare system is now outsourced to private hands. healthcare, Education, home for elderly etc is an attractive business as it provides stabile income despite economic turmoil and very good margins.

These are forces working real hard to privatize also the energy sector. The electric Utilities markets was deregulated some years back and many networks were sold to private (now mostly Foreign) investors.

The result is a disaster - we pay way more in our country for our cheap, environmentally friendly electricity that any other country in the EU. The fees for the networks has increased more than 100% and the company’s are earning record profits.

There is no insight or surveillance what so ever of the markets where the price for electricity is set (NoordPool) and despite that the market is supposed to be "deregulated" you as a citizen is not able to chose either of your own network provider (that’s a real monopoly) nor are you allowed to buy your electricity from eg Norway.

Then we, in the midst of a ww economic disaster, have been able to again create our own domestic housing bubble. The people owning these banks e.g Wallenberg are now the people that for pennies on the dollar buy our welfare system. Now within years we can look forward to a new bailout round to support these criminal gangsters.

It's a fucking Oligarchic wet dream.
